I've heard little snippets from the show and an interview with the show's creator (a Canadian Muslim woman) on NPR. I wish we could see this here in the States but I don't know if the majority of American TV-viewers are ready for it. I hope I'm underestimating them though and that it will be broadcast here eventually.

Do Canadians have some weird wonderful sense of humor missing south of Toronto? Kids in the Hall was one of my favorites - I'm even embarrassed to say it. I can't wait for the Comedy Channel or whoever might pick it up to give us "little mosque on the Prairie". Humor can be demeaning, humiliating, sarcastic - might I point out Ann Coulter. Or it can be the means to see our common human condition. I've always figured there must be a vast sense of humor in the universe. Because - we are pretty darn funny when you think about it.
